[Since 2010] GEOSS Science and Technology Stakeholder Network (GSTSN): The GSTSN brings together the wide range of science and technology stakeholders that can benefit from, or contribute to the development of, the Global Earth Observing System of Systems (GEOSS) implemented by the Group on Earth Observations (GEO). A main activity of the GSTSN is to organize the GEOSS S&T Stakeholder Workshops. Tiwah supports the GSTSN by developing and maintaing the GEOSS Science and Technology Service Suite (GSTSS) and by organizing the stakeholder workshops. For more information, read the GSTSN Poster presented at the 2015 EGU General Assembly in Vienna.
[Since 2007] Geohazards Community of Practice (GHCP): The GHCP supports the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) by bringing together groups and individuals involved in various aspects of geohazards, including research, monitoring and risk assessments, mitigation, and adaptation and ensuring that the needs of this community are taken into account in the development of GEOSS. Tiwah supports the GHCP by maintaining the web page and by managing projects, such as the White Paper on extreme geohazards (see here for details).
[Since 2006] Coastal Zone Community of Practice (CZCP): The CZCP supports the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) by bringing together scientific and non-scientific experts in an effort to support coastal zone management through utilization of Earth observations and derived products. A main activity of the CZCP is the organization of a series of regional workshops addressing the decision support through Earth observations for integrated coastal zone management. Tiwah supports the CZCP by maintaining the web page and by supporting the organization of the CZCP workshops. Tiwah is also supporting the development of a global coastal zone information system).
